Little Sister woke up early one morning (6:45am) and asked if I thought any of her friends were awake this early. My response was one like many that early in the morning, a smile and nod.
She took her hand to her chin and said, "I'll take that as a no!"

Younger sister was writing thank you notes last night and made a happy face out of the exclamation points. She proudly showed daddy and said, "daddy, look at my explanation points!"

<> her way seems better!

Angels we have heard on high, GlooooooOOOOOoooooOOOOOriA.......
what comes next? "Here come Chelsea Spanyo," According to oldest daughter.
She was singing along in church Sunday and asked me what I was singing. When
I told her she just giggled, "oops, I said it wrong."
How cute.

This morning while getting ready for school, oldest daughter asks, "mommy, how did God make himself?" "I guess I don't know, honey," was the only response I could think of on the spot. "Mommy, what does God look like?" she added. Again, not prepared for these kinds of questions this early in the morning I told her I wasn't sure exactly. Then she asks, "Mom, do you know what we are going to have for breakfast?" Finally! A question I have the answer to....oatmeal!!

The questions never end......nor do I want them to!

I was suffering from a sinus headache and chose to take a nap. Youngest daughter was playing quietly nearby and before long was sound asleep by my side. When I awoke later and gently attempted waking her she gave me a chuckle that I felt the need to share.
I whispered, "boy I really must have needed that nap, how 'bout you? You must have really needed a nap, huh?" Her reply was, "not really!"

Thank you, God for my children!

A while ago oldest daughter was reading a book with daddy when suddenly she stopped and asked to get a drink. Off she went but not before asking daddy if he would 'pause' the book for a minute.

Pause the book? how cute! We used bookmarks when I was growing up, would have been nice to have a pause button back then!! : )

Little sister has been learning to read these past few months. When asked what she liked best about reading chapter books her reply was, "there are no commercials!"

Some books she has temporarily on her bed:
Junie B., First Grader One Man Band
Junie B. Jones is a Beauty Shop Guy

both by Barbara Park
